Find the Farmers’ Market near You
For many of us, the coming of spring means the beginning of farmers’ market season. All across Massachusetts, open air markets are beginning operations, bringing fresh, healthy, and locally grown food to our neighborhoods. By shopping at a farmers’ market, you can add nutrition and variety to your family’s table – all while supporting local businesses.

Save at Boston Farmers’ Markets with “Bounty Bucks”
If you qualify for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), you can use “Bounty Bucks” to save money on food purchases at Boston farmers’ markets. All purchases made with SNAP benefits are matched up to $10. SNAP users can get their food at 50% off up to $20 using Bounty Bucks.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to the Information Table at a participating farmers' market and ask about Bounty Bucks.
- The Market Manager will give you Bounty Bucks equal to the amount of your purchase.
- Use Bounty Bucks just like cash to pay for your food.
- Bounty Bucks must be used at the market where they were issued.
