A health insurance option for eligible employees
As part of Massachusetts’ health care reform legislation,
all Massachusetts residents 18 years and older must obtain and maintain health
insurance that meets minimum coverage requirements by July 1, 2007. Some
exceptions apply, predominantly based on affordability and individual income
(call the State at 1-800-MA-ENROLL for details).
Commonwealth Care is a health insurance program that may
be available to employees who do not qualify for their employer group coverage
or if their employer does not offer health insurance.
What is Commonwealth Care?
-

-
It’s real health insurance with comprehensive health coverage.
Who is eligible for Commonwealth Care?
-

insurance
