programs are available to eligible Massachusetts residents. You and/or your
family members may be eligible for coverage in the programs in which BMC
HealthNet Plan participates - MassHealth (Medicaid) or Commonwealth Care

If You Qualify for MassHealth or Commonwealth Care,
You'll Have Coverage, So That You Can:

regularly see a doctor who gets to know your healthcare needs

see a specialist*

go to the hospital*

get vision services*

get medications - low cost or free prescription drugs, and in certain cases,
over-the-counter drugs with a prescription from your primary care provider
(PCP)**

How Do I Know Which Program I Might Quality For?
You'll need to apply to MassHealth to determine whether you qualify for
MassHealth or Commonwealth Care But, before you do, look at the table below.
There you'll find some broad guidelines for qualifying for MassHealth and
Commonwealth Care. You must meet these AND the program's income guidelines
outlined in the income guidelines table below.
*MassHealth income guidelines are based on monthly household
income; Commonwealth Care guidelines are based on yearly income. In general,
MassHealth is for Massachusetts residents with low to medium income. The income
limits for various MassHealth programs depends on your family size, your
category of eligibility, and the type of MassHealth coverage.

The enrollment package the state sent you to let you know you qualify contains
information on how to select a health plan.

through Friday.
